I wanted to let everyone know some of the awesome miracles that I witnessed in Brazil. I have heard many many testimonies from other students at these same services that I have attended, but the following are ones that I was directly involved in. Fern and I usually ministered together and saw many wonderful things. Praise God that He moves among His people.

1. The first that I can now remember (some have slipped away) is a girl in her twenties that had one leg longer than the other. We asked her to sit in a chair with her hips firmly pressed in the back of the chair and to extend her legs for us to see the difference in the length. Sure enough the left leg was about a inch (more or less) shorter than the right. Fern continued to hold the girls legs out and I laid my hands on her legs/knees. We asked God to come and grow out the left leg. After a few minutes the girl told us that she was feeling fire in her left legs and her both legs were visibly trembling. We told her heat is a sign of God moving and we blessed what He was doing. We didn't see any increase in the length of her leg but asked her anyway to stand and see if there was any difference. She immediately proclaimed that it was healed. Being the great women of faith we are (ha, ha) we asked if she would sit down and we could check the length of her left leg again. Sure enough, there was barely any difference between the two legs. We then asked her to make sure that her hips were squarely and firmly against the back of the seat and checked again. There was still only a slight difference. We wanted to pray for the full healing but she was confident they were perfect left thanking God.
2. Another night we prayed for a women with a thyroid problem, remember we are using an interpreter and had trouble getting more than just a general idea of what was the problem. Her throat had an obvious bulge on one side and we prayed and then asked her if she felt anything. She said that her throat was burning inside. We prayed again and she felt her throat and said that the lump or enlarge thyroid was substantially smaller. We continued to pray and bless what God was doing and she got very excited and told us that it was at least 80% smaller and there was a visible difference in her throat. Praise God.
3. We prayed for a women that described her problem as "pain in her womb" and we were told it was a female issue. We prayed and asked her if she felt different. She said all the pain left as we prayed.
4. One night the alter call was for those that wanted to receive more of God or an impartation of the Holy Spirit. There was about 500 - 700 people there and it appeared they all came up for prayer. Before they could even reach the front and receive prayer from all of us students, they were falling down like cords of wood in the power of the Holy Spirit with crying, groaning and laughter. It was utter chaos, but the most beautiful thing I ever saw. People crying out in repentance and elation all at the same time. We had to step over people to get to those still standing and most often as soon as we touched someone they would fall under the Spirit of God exclaiming His glory.
5. During the above altar call, Fern was asked to pray for a 10 year old boy who was legally deaf. He had hearing aides in both ears. She prayed and he immediately said pulled out his hearing aides and said that he could hear. Fern did not know to what extent he could hear in the first place so she took the boy, the interpreter and the older sister to the boy to a back room that was not as noisy and had the sister stand behind the boy and ask him questions to see if he could hear. The sister burst out crying and told Fern that the boy could barley hear anything with the hearing aides in, and could hear nothing with them out. She spoke in a normal voice and he heard her perfectly. Later we say the little boy up on stage giving a testimony to the power of God to heal. Tom Jones, the pastor leading the service had his picture taken with the little boy and Fern has asked Tom for a copy. Hopefully we will have a copy of it soon.
6. During one service I was approached by a Global representative from Brazil and asked if I would go with a couple of other students and an interpreter to a lady's house where her mother (only 53 yrs. old) was in a coma, left brain damaged from surgery 8 years before. I went to this home and had the privilege to pray for this women and her family. I would like to tell you that she was healed, but there appeared to be no improvement, yet I am convinced that when we pray that there is no such thing as "nothing happened". At this home there was a elderly women, the mother to the 53 year old women, that look very sad and I prayed with her. She told me through an interpreter that her mind was confused lately and she was having trouble hearing and understanding what was said to her. I prayed for her and called on the love of God to move upon her. One of the interpreters in the room came over and told us that she say the Holy Spirit descend on the women when we prayed. I asked the women if she felt any better and she said that her confusion was gone and that she could hear much better. We ended up ministering to the whole family - Grandma, the husband of the 53 yr. old women, and their three beautiful young daughters. This was a very special time for me.
7. We prayed for a man about 30 or so that asked for healing for his visions. He said that he could see but everything was foggy. We prayed several time and asked if he could see better or did he feel anything. Each time he said no. Not seeing any success, we asked if he was ever involved in the occult. He said he was not, but there were some family members that were. We then explained that even though he had not sinned in this area, that the occult activity needed to be renounced since the sins of our ancestors can oppress us. He renounced his families involvement and we prayed again. At this time the man explained that he could see much better, the fogginess was gone and the improvement was at least 50%.
8. The last that I would like to share with you, is a 12 year old girl brain damaged and in a wheel chair. The mother admitted when her daughter was 3 she was perfectly normal little girl. Her mother was involved in the occult and frequently saw demons in the house and the little girl saw them as well. One day the little girl ate something, they never knew what, and she ended up in this state. This mother brought her daughter for prayer one night and Fern and I prayed for the little girl. It did not appear anything happened - remember - no such thing. The next night her mother was back with the little girl. Fern asked the mother if she had noticed any improvement since we prayed. She said yes, that the girl was much more peaceful, but that she was choking on her phlegm more. This indicated to us demonic activity and we prayed for deliverance. As we prayed the little girl began to choke more and more. Suddenly the little girl stopped choking and began to yawn the biggest yawn ever. When this happened Fern and I both knew that a spirit had left. The little girl immediately shut her eyes and went to sleep - which in itself is a miracle in all the noise. The mother, who up until this point looked as one that had no hope (enough to bring her though) became very excited and began to praise God and thank us for praying. Clearly something left this little girl. Thank you Jesus.
Every time God moved I was surprised at how skeptical I was that there had been improvement. Proof that God can work through even doubter and skeptics. I am beginning to see that our minds truly need to be renewed, especially from rationalism that would rationalize everything to the point of unbelief. I am more and more certain that we are to shut off all unbelieving thoughts and choose to believe. It is always a choice. I always thought that if I saw miracles that I would not doubt - God is teaching me that nothing is undeniable - Jesus was doubted - doubt will always try to reject the supernatural. We must choose to believe that what He says is true, what He does is real and what we see is Him.
I hope you enjoyed the testimonies - I would love to hear from you about what you think.
Love Mary
